Prof. Kiesslich et al present during DDW 2009 their study of "Small bowel Enteroscopy: Feasibility and safety of the new Balloon Guided Endoscopy system using different high definition, confocal and standard endoscopes", exhibiting the use of NaviAid™ BGE with various endoscopes. Study included 35 patients, with an average insertion depth of 1.9m passed LOT, and average duration of 52 min. Endoscopes used include Endomicroscope and High definition endoscope. Prof. Adelr et al publish their study of "New Balloon-Guided Technique for Deep Small-Intestine Endoscopy Using Standard Endoscopes" at Endoscopy magazine. This first NaviAid™ BGE experience includes 20 procedures including both antegrade and retrograde approaches. Average insertion depth was 1.45m passed LOT for antegrade procedures and 0.7m passed ICV for retrograde procedure. Additional clinical sites and reference centers are currently being launched globally. The clinical data is constantly accumulated and shared with the GI medical community.
